Halloween will look very different this year due to COVID. Trick- or-Treaters as well as their parents and Businesses will feel the impact. The National Retail Federation reported that fewer people will hand out candy or go trick-or-treating this year than last, and fewer people plan to throw or attend a party or visit a haunted house due to Social Distancing measures but more folks are looking to decorate the homes. Parents and Business owners struggle on how to still celebrate the Holiday and stay safe. The CDC listed some ways you can make Halloween this year safer:
If everyone uses common sense and follows these simple steps, we can still enjoy the Holiday and be safe. If you are still leary and are one of those fortunate organizations that have thrived through the pandemic, now is the time to give back to the children and their parents by donating to a good cause. The month of October has recognized many things, not only is it Halloween but it is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
